At EQUAL Ireland, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts to provide useful practical programmes for adults enabling them to acquire qualifications at QQI Levels 6, 7, 8 and 9 or in other words, at Higher Certificate, Ordinary BA, Honours BA and Masters levels. The subjects we teach include business, social enterprise, leadership, management and community development.
EQUAL Ireland offers on-line and ‘face-to-face’ flexible and engaging programmes designed for busy people.
Each programme consists of five or six modules on topics such as Community Development, Human Resource Management, Social Enterprise Development and Leading Organisations, which are relevant to the above areas. Delivery is a combination of either monthly ‘face to face’ or online workshops combined with online Study Groups and access to other resources available on our learning platform.
Class sizes are small so you can learn in a friendly atmosphere with and from your peers as well as getting to know your tutors. Readings, Learning Activities, Recorded Lectures and Videos are available online so you can study in your own time and pace. Importantly, if you miss a workshop(s) you can catch up with class and lecture recordings stored on the platform

EQUAL Ireland welcomes applications from individuals using our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. This enables you to gain advanced entry to our BA programme, by recognising credit for what you already know from the course curriculum. This learning may have occurred through attendance on other programmes, or, it may have occurred through employment, caring, volunteering or through your general life experience.
If you wish to apply for advanced entry to our Higher Certificate or BA programme, EQUAL Ireland will provide you with friendly workshops and a ‘one-to-one’ mentor to support you to make your application, thereby eliminating unnecessary repeat learning and reducing your costs in terms of time and money

With our organisation’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with old challenges especially Time, Cost, Travel, Motivation and Support.
We save you time and travel by delivering our programmes locally throughout Ireland and on a part time basis.
As we are ‘not for profit’ we keep cost to an absolute minimum.
EQUAL Ireland is specialised in adult learning and fully appreciates the fact that people live busy lives as well as having their learning ambitions.
In particular we understand that a return to learning can be a daunting undertaking and that from time to time a person will need personal encouragement, help and support, which we are always ready, willing and able to provide.
